Alumni Man gets around!
He's a law unto himself and likes to be seen wherever he goes. Now, our own Alumni Man has made an appearance on the side of a leading installer's truck. Thanks to HD Homes for giving him a free ride!

Mordaunt-Short's Avant 916i has been named Stereo Speaker of the Year in Australian magazine Sound & Image's 2008 awards. Beating off some stiff competition the magazine stated, "Mordaunt-Short has combined its proprietary driver technology with an unusual new approach to crossover design to deliver a loudspeaker that delivers amazing performance for its price..."

Mordaunt-Short in Manchester
Mordaunt-Short's ranges were out in force at last weekend's Manchester show in the north west of England.
On display were the new Mezzo 8 floorstanders as well as the Performance 6 Limited Edition.
Mordaunt-Short's UK distributor Marantz provided the electronics for an impressive stereo demonstration.

Performance 6 LE should be in your Collection!
Each year, Hi-Fi Choice release their Collection edition which includes only the very finest high-end hi-fi. 2008's features a reprint of their Performance 6 LE review.
They stated, "Instrumental textures are well portrayed, colorations very low, and speech sounds unusually clear."

Mordaunt-Short at the Brazil hi-fi show
Mordaunt-Short exhibited at this year's Brazil hi-fi show in Sao Paulo which was fantastically organised by our Brazilian distributor, Gramophone Eletronica.

Mezzo 8 perfect for Electronic House

The joy of sax heard through Performance
At IFA in Berlin, Mordaunt-Short's European distributor Marantz put on a fantastic show to demonstrate our flagship Performance 6 speakers.
Saxophonist Hans Kuijt recorded a sax quartet including soprano, alto, tenor and baritone. The tracks were then played back not in stereo but so each Performance 6 replicated a saxophone giving an amazing impression of a live gig!

Mordaunt-Short at Hong Kong AV Show!
Mordaunt-Short enjoyed great success at this year's Hong Kong AV Show. Our full range of speakers were on display including Alumni, Mezzo and the stunning Performance 6 Limited Edition.
A specially made Mezzo 6 cutaway cabinet caused quite a stir amongst visitors. The exhibit shows the speaker's internal components and strageic bracing.
